AECTEA Association - Free Volunteer Opportunities in Brazil

In February AEC-TEA was awarded a project to turn student work from the Ponto de Cultura photography class into a published book.  FUNCEB (Fundação Cultural do Estado da Bahia) will fund the publication of 1,000 books, of which some will be distributed locally, and others sold nationally and internationally.  The book will celebrate everyday culture in Capim Grosso, and is the only project from outside of Salvador to have won the award.
